Pros

- Finally, you get paid to be a student rather than accumulating debt. And with free health care, and optional (but affordable) vision and dental - The graduate school organizes events for the grad student population - I've had good experience with advisors, but that will vary depending on whom you're with. ASK PEOPLE IN THE LAB!!! It's important. - Good running nearby (towpath along the canal) and nice countryside to bike through just a few miles out of town.

Cons

- Very difficult to meet people outside the grad student bubble - Housing office is terrible, but you only have to deal with them a few times - Little to do off campus unless you go far afield.
