Pros

- Best hands on training. - Great first step into logistics/sales. Hires out of college with little to no experience. - Starting salary of 50k/annual. - Great starting benefits. Health and all. - $500 Free Car Allowance. - Commissions CAN be great. Additional pay on your check.

Cons

- After training, you are alone. Set cold meetings or meetings with current customers (only way to get upper management to show up). - 100-120 calls a day (If in office) and 40-50 doors pulled (if on the field) - QUOTA HEAVY: Bills (Trucks Moved/Day), Meetings Set/Attended, GP (Gross Profit Earned/This is how you get paid extra through commission), Paper Closes (Credit Applications), and Activations (Businesses that start to ship with Priority1) - Hit your numbers or be put on a performance plan and a corrective action plan or goodbye after 6-8 months (Job Security?) - When you leave, they will give your customers that you built to the next person. If working in logistics again, then you need to fight for your book again. If not, then who cares. - Too much free time alone... If not detailed oriented and organized with your day-to-day, you will be lost and behind.

Pros

Autonomy: Territory managers have a high degree of autonomy in managing their territory, which can be a pro for those who prefer to work independently. Higher income potential: Territory managers often have a commission-based compensation structure, which can result in higher income potential if they perform well. Flexibility: Territory managers typically have a flexible schedule, as they are responsible for managing their own time and can set their own priorities. Building relationships: Territory managers have the opportunity to build strong relationships with clients and customers, which can lead to long-term business partnerships. Professional development: Territory managers often receive training and professional development opportunities, which can help them improve their skills and advance their careers.

Cons

High pressure: Territory managers are often under a high degree of pressure to meet sales targets and quotas, which can be stressful. Constant travel: Territory managers may spend a significant amount of time traveling to visit clients and customers, which can be tiring and disruptive to personal life. Uncertain income: While the potential for high income is a pro, it can also be a con for those who may struggle to meet their sales targets or experience fluctuations in their commission-based pay. Limited control: Territory managers may have limited control over certain aspects of their work, such as pricing or product selection, which can be frustrating. Competitive market: Territory managers often work in a competitive market, which can make it challenging to establish and maintain strong business relationships with clients and customers.
