Opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the incarcerated and their loved ones Opportunity to increase knowledge about the corrections system Opportunity to bring churches together for a common purpose

Cons

Leadership is disconnected with the challenges and needs that exist at the local level Continuous shifting in direction with minimal support organizational support to achieve objectives Workload is not commensurate with staffing plan or salaries

Pros

- They are more flexible with you if you have young children. - They allow you to work from home if your job duties permit.

Cons

- If you are young and looking to make a difference here because you believe in the cause, and looking to use your assets and skills to better the organization, this is probably not a good fit for you. The executive structure discourages innovation and creativity.

Pros

I was fortunate to work with a very supportive group of service-oriented people, whose main focus was to help others.

Cons

Sometimes it seemed like corporate management was not fully aware of what the field team needed to accomplish the company's goals ~ to service the least, the lost and the last.
