      No shortage of workers. A large hospital where you get to see a variety of tests

      Can't move up anywhere. There is a bottleneck to management.

      Pros

      I enjoyed working for an organization that truly cared and was passionate about what they did, providing the best health care services for their patients. I also loved the ability to connect with the community and the encouragement to be intimately involved.

      Cons

      The leadership of the function I worked for was short sighted in their thinking and was more interested in navigating politics than furthering the organization.

      Pros

      ProMedica is the biggest employer in the region. A lot of "prestige" comes with working for ProMedica. There is also a nice sense of teamwork and pride amongst employees. Tuition Assistance benefit.

      Cons

      Pay is not competitive at all. It doesn't even meet the average for the industry. Opportunities for growth are minimal to nonexistent (for non-clinical positions at least).
