Pros

There as some good people you’ll meet.

Cons

Rampant favoritism, Even with the same job title certain employees are allowed to come in late. Others are held to the standard. Favored employees are given less work, and use their status to get others fired if they don’t like them. Management is not helpful, and not informative. You’ll be told what your duties are, While a little later get contradicting information that will make you back track over previous work. Your job is threatened almost weekly.

Pros

-Most peers are helpful/friendly -You can wear jeans on Fridays

Cons

**95% of the good reviews on this site are from the Recruiting candidates that do NOT work for ProTech (PSGI) internally and SHOULD BE IGNORED if she or he is not from Memphis or if stating she or he worked on contract** -Zero chance for internal growth or promotion - no climbing ladders here! -Few times you aren't put in a highly stressful environment or trying to meet the next quota -Useless meetings followed by new directions/goals every week handed down by CEO & President -Culture & values are run amuck by gossip & rumors of department cliques and loyalty is hard to come by for this reason -Known favoritism amongst employees & management -Salary pay is not competitive & raises are minuscule even in a management position; benefits, such as health insurance, are expensive especially with a family.

ProTech Services Group Response

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We take critiques seriously and utilize them to better our business. Because we are a small, local business, unfortunately there are not as many positions available as would be possible in a larger company. But, we work to ensure that every employee is being fairly compensated and recognized for their contributions. As in all sales-based businesses, account executives are encouraged to meet their quotas. This is a mutually beneficial goal. ProTech gains new business and improves profitability; account executives receive commission based on the sale. The technology industry is constantly changing and requires that our goals and direction be modified to reflect those changes. Any new goals or directions given by myself or the CEO are in an effort to meet the needs of our community and keep in pace with industry trends. We offer a full benefits package that includes life, health, dental and vision insurance along with a 401K program that offers a 4% employer match. We believe that this is in line with other companies’ benefits. I appreciate your review and regret that you did not enjoy your experience with ProTech. I wish you the best in your future endeavors and hope that you are able to find a company that better suits your expectations. Please feel free to email me at dweddle@psgi.net.
