A Good Company With Real Potential

Pros

-Strong culture among in-office employees — the team genuinely cares about each other and the work - An excellent place to start your career; the culture is supportive and you'll learn a lot from tenured employees who are generous with their time and knowledge - Smaller company size (~140 employees) means you're not just a number and your contributions are visible/can make a real impact. - The company has real staying power — 25 years in business speaks to a stable product and loyal customer base

Cons

- Culture has noticeably diluted as the company has scaled remote hiring; the in-office experience and the remote experience feel like two different companies - For a 25-year-old company, too many startup-era processes are still in place that should have been professionalized long ago - Core values are stated but not consistently lived — especially at the leadership level, where gatekeeping is common - Compensation is below market for most roles; unless you're in sales or have been here long enough to have negotiated up over time, you're likely underpaid relative to industry benchmarks

Pros

• Hybrid / remote flexibility • People are generally kind and well-intentioned • Well-stocked kitchen with lots of food and drinks • Many long-tenured employees, which speaks to stability and loyalty

Cons

• Long tenure cuts both ways. Many employees have been here for decades and haven’t been exposed to more modern ways of working. As a result, processes and decision-making often feel dated. • Tooling is extremely archaic and not collaborative by today’s standards, which slows work and creates unnecessary friction. • Very little process documentation. Critical knowledge lives in people’s heads rather than being written down, which creates risk, inefficiency, and dependency on specific individuals. • Benefits are below market. There are no sick days—any illness (yours or a family member’s) must come out of PTO. • The bereavement policy is especially confusing: 3 days per year, usable for anyone, no proof required. It’s unclear why this exists but sick leave does not. In practice, it raises uncomfortable questions—are employees expected to “save” time off for death instead of illness? At previous companies, bereavement was per occurrence, not capped annually. The intent of this policy feels unclear and poorly thought through.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback. We appreciate your recognition of our people and culture, and we value the perspective you’ve provided. We regularly review our benefits and policies as part of our annual assessment process, and feedback like this is an important input as we evaluate how to best support our employees. We’re committed to continuous improvement and to balancing stability with thoughtful evolution as the company grows. We also recognize the importance of regularly examining how we work, including our tools, processes, and how long-standing practices evolve over time. Through our biannual performance review process, we strive to create open, two-way communication between managers and employees, including space to discuss ad hoc topics. Looking ahead, we aim to continue providing guidance and encouragement for employees to share feedback related to decisions, tools, and processes throughout the year. We appreciate you sharing your experience and wish you the best in your next chapter.

Pros

Ok pay, but not for the hours demanded. Ok medical/dental. Limited 401K matching.

Cons

Archaic products with zero security in mind. There is very little newer technology to be learned here, they are at least 15+ years behind current standards. Horrible/non-existent documentation and very little organization across the products. Immaturity starts at the top and is seen through all levels of their management. They have zero concern for your work life balance, but certainly enjoy their weekends and time off without interruption. Prepare to be expected to work every weekend and 40-50 hours during the week without pause or proper reward. They will not tell you this in the your interview.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are always open to feedback and continuously strive to create a positive and supportive work environment. We take security very seriously and consistently address any concerns brought to our attention to ensure our products meet high standards. If there were specific issues during your time with us, we would have welcomed the opportunity to discuss and resolve them. Regarding work-life balance, we encourage employees who work weekends to take additional time off allotted to maintain a healthy balance. While we allow flexibility in when that time is used, we understand that preferences may vary, and we always encourage employees to prioritize their well-being. Additionally, for roles that require weekend work, this is communicated in job postings and during the hiring process to ensure transparency from the start. We’re sorry to hear that your experience wasn’t as positive as we strive for. We value our employees and are always looking for ways to improve. We appreciate your time with us and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
