Pros

It is the largest FMCG company worldwide, so employees can be involved in big initiatives, working with the best advertising agencies in a very international environment (multifunctional teams spanning multiple countries).

Cons

Although there is an structured performance appraisal system (work and development plan), there are a lot of politics (medium and top management level) that make career growth difficult. At times it seems that the only way to progress is to be connected to someone.

Work life balance is great; Allows for influence over own career; strong mentor programs available; Annual performance & salary reviews are done

Cons

Sometimes funding is not always available for R&D research however it is such a big part of the innovation process that better budget management systems are necessary
