Pros

Great flexibility, good benefits, good culture

Cons

Company isn't good about following their promote from within policy. Inexperienced undergraduates and MBA's are offered virtually all entry level management roles making it extremely difficult for top-rated, tenured employees to move from an A&T role into the management track.

Pros

- strong learning curve and great exposure to a lot of responsibility from day 1 - mostly smart people from whom it's easy to learn - strong, nurtured culture and history/tradition

Cons

- politics (and there is more every day) - direct manager can impact one's career to too big of an extent - shady and political rating session
