Pros

Good people and a decent pay. Fun to work in consumer goods. Everyone gets to see your products, its easy to explain what you do. Benefits are best of all my friends Get good stuff in the store for very little work. Co-workers are generally very competent.

Cons

Long hours make personal life tough. I find myself working from home a lot. I also have to travel quite a bit between all the buildings in the area with no compensation. The other benefits are very good but gas is going up quickly. Some of the managers are very beauracratic and sometimes get lost looking high level.

Pros

the people are great - super motivated to do the right thing and a passion for winning makes it a fun place to work. The company really does live by its PVP = Purpose, Values & Principles so I've never left work thinking that I was asked to do something where my integrity was compromised.

Cons

it seems like its always do more with less; which makes it an excellent company to invest in but can burn out people. We have a lot of "type a" personalities so individually we're as much to blame as the company as we continually rise to the challenge since they hire people who don't want to let anyone down or to not achieve a goal

Pros

Definitely the opportunity to learn. They call it P&G university for a reason. Great place to start your career without a doubt. The whole culture, organization and managers are prepared to receive you blank and train you. They are accepting of errors and have a great coaching system

Cons

Great salary and compensation as a new hire, but as time passes the salary does not grow as fast as one would want. Other alternatives outside become more attractive from a money standpoint. Additionally, being such a large company things do move slowly given huge procedures and alignment. Sometimes it feels like you just have to follow a recipe as everthing has already been done before. Different from smaller companies where you have more opportunity to create new stuff, new procedures, new ways to do business
