Pros

Great salary and bonuses and raises.

Cons

Terrible leaders that do not know how to properly train new employees, complain about other employees to new employees, gaslight employees who raise valid concerns and fail to tale responsibility for failures within the department that easily hurt small businesses.

Pros

Generous pto Healthcare options are affordable Discounts on current insurance through progressive Profit-sharing Ability to work fully remote No weekends Able to move to a new role after 6 months

Cons

Salaried professionals will often be asked-aka guilted-into taking on additional work that isn’t necessarily a part of their job description. For example, handling escalated claims where a client is requesting a manager/supervisor, and said manager has you follow up with the escalation request even though you aren’t in a leadership role or receiving a manager’s salary. Burnout is extremely common in this industry due to the standards and expectations they want you to meet for claims handling.
