      Management out of touch/impossible workload

      Pros

      The initial hourly pay before they switch you over to salary and have you work 50+hrs min and you will still be behind.

      Cons

      Unrealistic workload, poor training/onboarding, upper middle management suffers from stereotypical corporate disconnect, pay isn’t worth it once you move to salary as you will be working 50hrs minimum on basic workload, metrics are unrealistic and only exist as a form of control for outdated middle management, too much workload and too much micromanage, watched as the company culture and values shifts more and more to call center vibes.

      Flexible work environment, lots of opportunities to grow

      Pros

      Great work/life balance, remote schedule is pretty flexible. We are not micromanaged. Tons of opportunities to learn as a newer developer - lots of classes offered, many self paced learning tools available. Decent benefits and nice 401k program

      Cons

      End of year bonus is tied to company gainshare factor - when the factor is low bonuses will be very small. It is not related to your personal performance. Promotions from entry level to intermediate can be challenging- there seems to be an emphasis on spending 2 years at the company, rather than focusing on skill level. If your manager does not schedule you for promotion at the end of the fiscal year, there is very little chance it will go through the following year. PTO takes forever to accrue as a new hire.

      Pros

      The video interview was really easy and I liked the process. I even had a malfunction on my first question thought they couldn’t restart the question for me they still looked at my interview and chose me for a final interview. The company has a lot to offer employees and the work environment seems very open and enjoyable to work in. I’m very excited about this position and hoping my final interview has a good turn out.

      Cons

      I would have liked to restated my interview because of a technical issue. But the team did reach out and explain to me that they don’t solely go off the video interview they look at overall experience as well.
