Pros

Progressive is a great company to work for, and my experience as an employee in the Claims organization in Eastern PA was outstanding. Progressive knocks new hire onboarding out of the park and, from my experience, does it better than my former employer, which was a Glassdoor Best company. The company will train and support you when you finish training and start handling claims and, more importantly, will give you a career in the insurance industry if you are interested in one. Everyone from the trainers, training supervisor, actual supervisor, and even my supervisors boss were all about ingratiating new hires into the culture. If you are interested in starting an insurance career from scratch and being given the opportunity to grow this is a great place to be.

Cons

The only con is that you have to stay in a claims role for a year before applying for roles outside of claims.

Pros

Flexibility and Environment. Working with my coworkers has been an amazing experience.

Cons

Nothing wrong with the company. Some customers can be a bit difficult - as normal.
