Pros

Company culture is amazing and is very inclusive and intentionally socially conscious. Pay is great. The people are great. Management is absolutely great. Opportunity for growth is the best i’ve seen in any company. I see people from support roles to supervisors after only 6 months in their current role (depending on experience of course) Also I’ve made about $20k in OT and annual bonuses consistently for the past few years. So the base salary could be better but the annual earnings are where they need to be.

Cons

The work load will become stressful after about 2 years mainly because you slowly build up to a larger case load. If not managed properly from the start, your cases have the potential to get out of control. It’s going to be really important to NOT cut corners to blow through a daily case load. Do everything by the book and you’ll be fine!

Pros

An overall relaxed environment. Great peers that are absolutely capable of doing great work. The hiring process (STAR method) has weeded out any weak links and has facilitated great employees that show up and get the job done!

Cons

Progress involves movement and with Progressive it's on skates and RedBull! So there are times when the movement means some information isn't moving as fast. But everyone is so open to helping with questions and concerns, you are only in the dark as long as you allow.

Pros

Decent benefits and pay. Lots of opportunity for growth.

Cons

Despite being such a large organization, they very much act like it's high school. I was one of the top performers in the state when I left on good terms. After I left, I was sexually assaulted by my former supervisor and many employees witnessed it (it was at an after hours party that I was invited to by a friend who still worked there). When I tried to come back to the same position a few years later, I was rejected. I was told it was "competitive", despite the fact that they ended up hiring someone with zero experience over me. Why? Because the person who interviewed me witnessed the assault and is blaming the victim. The man who assaulted me continues to get promotions and do well at Progressive while I am told that I'm not good enough for a trainee position. Shame on you, Progressive.
