Pros

Good middle management, true family atmosphere. Staffing issues like any other insurance company leads to impossible workload.

Cons

Claims is bad In general, if you can make a career in claims this would be a great place to do it, if you’re not into claims as a career I would advise against it

Pros

-Flex Time w/ work from home -good benefits, however medical insurance could be better -401K matching up to 6% -yearly bonus BUT is based on how "well" the company does, so not a guaranteed bonus -through training on system, however training on the real job is learn as you go -Everyone is very friendly

Cons

-Workload is very overwhelming which can lead to working evenings and weekends. Since its a salaried position, you are no paid overtime. -Other companies pay higher for same position -Stress free time off isn't really stress free and taking time off just adds more stress to the already overwhelming workload. -Inclusion and Diversity is thrown down your throat ALL the time and can be rather annoying at times. Political happenings outside the workplace are talked about which can be very awkward and not appropriate for work conversation. -Lots of meetings that take away from doing your work and new assignments still coming in which can cause you to work into the evening. -Good employees get dumped on to help out others who are not doing their work -Microsoft Teams chats can be very annoying and prevent you from focusing on your work. -The team you are on can be changed on whim with very little notice and moved under a different supervisor. There is no consistency on how work is done under each supervisor and you have to adapt to how current supervisor likes things done. In one year I have had 5 different supervisors. -Taking time off during holidays and summer can be very difficult -Use many different systems to get the job done which can add to the stress and systems do go down somewhat frequently. -Career advanced does appear to be favoritism, however management will always say differently.
