Pros

The best thing about Progressive are the people, you will most likely love your coworkers. The benefits at Prog are fine, I don’t think any better or worse than the tech companies in the area. If you read the reviews there is a lot of input from Call Center staff. It’s my opinion that the Call Center treats their people very well, and if you’re looking for a job there go for it. I have had the pleasure to work with Sales & Sales leadership, and I would, without question recommend that team. They are company leaders in diversity, and internal promotions....Outside of Sales, I believe that Progressive has struggled. There have been a lot of hires, and a lot of people have been fired. I’m not sure that they have ethical hiring practices, and like many people have posted about, diversity is lacking. My advice is this: if you are taking a job at Progressive, don’t drink the kool-aid and buy into the carrot that will dangle in front of you. Take the job because it’s what you want to do, and where you want to be, not the promise of the payoff down the road. That same promise has been made to a lot of people and sadly, most of the promotions have been filled with people outside of the company (unless you’re in Sales, they have a strong model of internal promotions). This doesn’t make Progressive a bad place to work, it’s actually a fun place to work but their hiring practices aren’t in your favor, and that’s just a fact.

Cons

Benefits are about average, no childcare assistance. Don’t fill out the employee engagement survey. It’s really not confidential.

Pros

Nowhere is perfect, but for me Progressive Leasing was the best place I've ever worked. Executive level really does care about their employees and also doing the right thing by our customers. Somehow they have managed to keep the great environment of a startup while growing tremendously every year. Great coworkers willing to help each other out and go the extra mile to make goals happen.

Cons

More holidays would be good - they added MLK day in 2019 which is nice. HR calls all the shots. Even if your manager wants to hire you, promote you or give you a raise, HR can ultimately say no and they are difficult to negotiate with.

Pros

*healthy snacks provided *employee lunches 2x a month *flexible schedule *Activities to keep culture

Cons

*not much PTO *management isn't the best. (sure they get results, but it's due to treating people like crap, and constantly having people quite and needing to be replaced)
