Pros

I have been part of the field team for the past four years and have loved working here. Although, nobody is perfect and you are going to find things you don't like about any place you work; I feel Progressive comes as close to perfect as one can expect. They truly value the opinion of their employees and work diligently to address any concerns or employee needs. Along with valuing their employees they also value their customers and do their very best to help each customer be successful with their lease. Being in the field and working directly with our partners offers me the opportunity to hear on a daily basis how amazing our customer service and merchant support teams really are. The field team is top notch and we are continuing to become better every day. Progressive is a rocket ship and I would strongly encourage anyone who wants ne an astronaut to jump on board.

Cons

The hiring process can be a bit lengthy for in the field positions. It is sometimes difficult to resolve laptop issues since I am in the field.

Pros

Some really talented and amazing people at this company. Chances are, you'll love most of your coworkers. It's an incredibly successful company with plenty of opportunity for growth.

Cons

Very corporate mentality. While most of the leadership there is excellent, a small but strong minority often looked at employees as interchangeable assets to be used and/or tossed aside, not as human beings to be mentored and understood. For as much money as the company brings in, leadership can be quite tight-fisted and more interested in securing a bigger piece of their personal pie than taking care of some of the employees who brought them there. There's a lot of talk that is talked about opportunity, but the morale in the sales and marketing department tells a much different tale. And when your sales and marketing team sees big numbers in the door quarter after quarter and the general feeling in the office is that we're failing or walking a tightrope, then there's clearly something wrong happening at the top.

Positive forward-movement in IT. CTO has a true-open door policy. Amazing culture. Multiple team-building opportunities offered each year.

Cons

This list is already being worked on: Unclear roles and responsibilities between Product and Technology Agile implementation
