      Excellent benefit package. Usually flexible with emergent personal issues (depending on who you are in the schmooze posse ).

      Cons

      Lower than average hourly pay (the lowest on the area scale according to the State unemployment statistics information charts.) HR not entirely employee oriented. Limited advancement opportunities.

      Pros

      Great caring ancillary and support staff. Facilities are top notch when it comes to equipment technology, supplies, and overall management of these areas. The patients served by this group are exceedingly satisfied, in turn this is a reflection of how lower level management operates at a high standard.

      Cons

      The expectations and actual work requirements were much different than what was inferred in the interview process. Your personal health history will be reviewed in detail, caution. The professional staff exemplify the idea of "corporate fraternity". Be prepared to heavily adjust your personal and professional life accordingly. Take a good look at the hospital the surgical group is affiliated with, several are in very poor financial health (unpublished/unspoken) and this translates to unrewarding career demands.
