Pros

Promises. Success is always around the corner. For entertainment sake, most of the reviews on here are written by one vain executive who cannot stand the negative image of his company. Look for the flowery, passionate reviews about working hard and having challenges. I've worked with people in denial but none who is so stubborn that he can't see the reality of circumstances before him.

Cons

Management is always looking for the next best thing. They hire smart people who are entrusted with 6 months to prove their qualifications. Most of them quit or are forced out after that point. I've been in many closed door discussions with with upper-level management and their dedication to their employees is absolutely transparent: They view most employees as feckless waste of space and a drain on payroll. What compounds the temporal environment is sense that everything is fungible and ephemeral. There is a sense that if the company ever found success, investors would sell the company to its highest bidder without hesitation. When this is verbalized by the CEO, the CFO and Big D, the culture that is Proscape, a flash in the pan, trickles downward. Employees feel used, or worse: they root for sustained failure so they will have a job tomorrow. The employee events feel so contrived and disingenuous. They are clearly organized to boost company morale, not internally, but to show the world. Every picture that is taken is posted to Facebook to prove that the reviews here are unfounded. The sales staff might be a perfect microcosm of the whole company. They take the job with confidence that they will be successful. After a few short months of being yelled at, being treated like they weren't trained properly, they are either let go or find a new job. Few employees in sales stay there for more than a year. They are promised the world in commission but leave in time to make their first dollar.

Pros

I had a great experience at Proscape. If you show up and be proactive, and contribute to the team, you will be successful. If you follow the above, you will be given the freedom to explore things beyond your job description. This is great for both personal and professional growth, and will lead to a prosperous future, if you ultimately don't stay here. The product you work with is amazingly powerful. You will interact with people from all over the globe, and make some great connections and friends. The team you work with has personality - you will make some great friends, and learn a great deal while you're at it. Whether you want to end up here, or use it as a stepping stone during your career, seriously consider spending some time with Proscape. Take any of the negative reviews here with a grain of salt. There are definitely a few cases below of sour grapes. Again, it's as simple as what I wrote above - be proactive and contribute, and you will enjoy your stay.

Cons

Of course there are cons with any company. If you follow the above, these cons fall under the "slightly annoying" category, rather than the "toxic environment avoid" category. You may have to take a call at 7pm. But it's an international company, so it should be expected. Occasionally, issues that most certainly not emergencies are treated as emergencies. This led to a little frustration, but always worked out one way or another in the end. No dogs in the office. Like I said - small issues. And the good far outweighs the bad.

Pros

The company's platform is very robust and always evolving. The atmosphere and culture are great. Every day I would look forward to coming to work not only because how awesome I think the platform is, but also because the people made it so much fun and exciting. The people at Proscape are always willing to pitch in and help, creating an excellent team environment. The ability to create numerous relationships with partners and clients is also very rewarding.

Cons

Sometimes I felt like I was being micro-managed over the smallest tasks. Other times, I felt like certain things were expected of me with little to no guidance on what was supposed to be expected. Overall though, it's a fun and challenging work environment so I can't really think of any cons other than the ones I mentioned.
