      -Good compensation -Opportunities to work in many specialties -Paid accommodations ( rental car and hotel) -Gas, food, and luggage reimbursement

      Cons

      On rare occasions, it may be hard to reach your implementation specialist for your assignment which can be frustrating when stuck in a situation.

      Pros

      Easy online training prior to working. This was one of the best experiences I had in preparing for medical school. I learned so much as a medical scribe, but your learning is also highly dependent upon your engagement and the physicians you work with.

      Cons

      Some trainers have opposing expectations of scribes which makes it difficult to please everyone and the physicians. The pay rate for regular scribes for me was just a dollar above minimum wage, which was fine for me during college but is not a reliable source of income after graduation and for most people.
