Pros

Weekly pay, remote work, friendly employees

Cons

You either work overtime to not fall behind or lose life work balance. Many people work overtime, on weekend, or all hours of the night. Complex processes that aren’t sustainable or easily transferable during training.

Pros

I've been part of organizations of all sizes - global large private and public companies, small startups, and everywhere in between. ProService is unique compared to the others. I’ve seen how this organization empowers team members to do their best. I’ve seen firsthand how people get together to solve problems and implement those solutions. It truly is setup to have each person take ownership of the roles, teams, company, and clients. Leaders are working hard to inspire their teams and allow each person to be as motivated as they want to succeed. It’s also a company that would fit most people’s ‘why’ – to serve, support, and grow the local Hawaii community. It’s the driving force behind most of the employees. ProService also does things many companies don’t – and as mentioned above I’ve been part of some very large global organizations. Often times it’s the small things that we take for granted – a $30 Labor Day reimbursement of our choice. A pie and sparkling cider to all employees for their Thanksgiving meals. On top of the regular benefits, these small things add up and go a long way that many other companies do not do. All in all, I highly recommend ProService. If you want a caring organization, with a great ‘why’ to come to work each day, and a group of peers and leaders who really just want the best for each other, ProService could be that place for you. It’s up to you to motivate yourself and make that impact you want.

Cons

This really isn’t a con. Like all organizations, the past 18 months have been tough. All companies have struggled with attracting and retaining great talent. Companies through their history have gone through some ups and downs. ProService isn’t immune to those peaks and valleys. However what I will say is most of the leaders recognize these things. The company has rebounded in serving the local community back above pre-pandemic levels. It recognizes that we have to do more to attract great talented people to fill many of the open roles to keep our service levels up and ensure workload isn’t too great of burden on those employees we have. Leaders recognize that we need to reestablish the culture for high performing people to do their best. It’s wanted by the employees and many of the leaders. There is a lot of work to do in this area but it is a focus of executives and most of the management team. I’m extremely encouraged about the outlook ahead of the company. It’s up to each of us as individuals to take the reins and help shape the future of the company.
