Pros

This is a growth company with a noble purpose of empowering Hawaii employees to succeed. We have amazing people who are committed to our clients. ProService gives a platform for Hawaii employees to grow. As long as you want to learn and grow and are willing to work hard, this is the place for you!

Cons

It could be exhausting when you fight against time to get things done for your clients with limited resources. We need to utilize technology capabilities to improve operational efficiency!

Pros

Dynamic organization who really does care for their employees and delivers on their purpose to empower businesses to succeed in Hawaii.

Cons

Grit and tenacity required. This place may not be for "just anyone". People are pushed to what may feel like beyond limits but no different than any other organization that survived, now looking to thrive thru the pandemic.

Pros

I have worked in so many different industries and across sectors and can firmly say that ProService is my favorite employer, by far. The benefits are progressive; for example, we're one of the very few companies that offers paid parental leave (you see this in Europe, not in the U.S.). I worked at local companies where the CEO/President & executive team were like celebrities; there were "sightings" and people would get excited, but no real interaction apart from a 1x/year town hall. It's not like that at ProService. Ben and the executive team are VERY accessible to all employees at all levels. There's a strong sense of "lead by example," which I appreciate, and there is a strong emphasis on promoting within and celebrating victories. For those like me with a quantitative background, ProService uses KPIs and other metrics to align with the broader organizational vision and there are many big picture strategic thinkers in this organization, which is a nice change from other places that have zero foresight. There's also a great energy in this organization. Those who enjoy working out of offices, the Hawaii Kai headquarters on Oahu is in a beautiful location and there's a large open concept layout for seating with large windows overlooking the ocean. ProService also offers some remote and hybrid opportunities. Very happy here.

Cons

Some departments have a harder time staffing and can be short-staffed at certain times, which would put more work on the rest of the team to pick-up. Luckily, the leadership has expanded the possibility of remote work (outside of Hawaii) for many of these roles to address any staffing shortages we experience here in the islands for very specialized roles. I think that has helped.
