Pros

great office space, fully stocked kitchen with tons of healthy snacks, pool table, some extremely talented and hard-working people, competitive benefits and pay.

Cons

poor management, people are often hired from outside to fill management roles (sometimes regardless of qualifications), CEO and HR are constantly telling employees not to write bad reviews on glass door (whoops!) and to come to them with any issues but in my experience that has never resulted in any positive outcome, management over-works their employees and sets unrealistic deadlines.

Pros

-Good snacks -Great coworkers -5 percent 401k match is nice

Cons

-High/middle management in verification is weak, constantly scrambling last minute -Managers ignore input from people on the ground -Same thing day in and day out, most customers unhappy due to some bait and switch marketing

More politics than a bank, less technology than Windows 95

Pros

Pay is decent, hours can be flexible, some cool people in the office.

Cons

Teams are siloed and will try to reject any sort of change or improvement you suggest. There is so much turnover that few people actually know how the company works. Managers have no idea what they are doing and the only thing they try to do is to avoid getting blamed for things that go wrong everyday. And believe me, things go wrong everyday. The tech stack is a disaster held together by duct tape. If you want to work here, you better like duct taping things over and over day after day. Management's solution is to throw more people and money at problems instead of understanding root cause. Execs have no idea what is going on. If you are smart, the mediocrity will suffocate you. You may be entertained by the chaos swirling around you every day for a while, you may even duck and avoid lot of the bullets..... but at the end of the day you will experience a deep and moving existential crisis about what you are doing with your life there.
