Pros

I've really like working here. Here's why: Professional and smart coworkers. Plenty of interesting problems to work on. Career advancement will take some personal leadership. Modern office with a good location. Management and company culture that values collaboration, leadership, hard work, and integrity. Solid benefits. The company is in a much better financial and competitive position than last year. The company is cash-flow positive and outlook is much stronger than before.

Cons

The company is highly exposed to the dynamics of the investing and borrowing markets. Market downturns, shocks in ABS or consumer lending, or scandals at our competitors have all had an impact on our business. Employee turnover has been a real drag.

Pros

Overall : Growing rocket-ship of a company on the cutting edge of Fintech. I did my research on fintech before joining. There has been 4X investment in Fintech in the last year compared to the year before. Prosper is a pioneer in the p2p lending industry and has been doing it for a long time. This company is poised to be a winner in a exciting new market. Company culture : It's fun, informal and everyone around seems to have a good time doing what they do. People take their jobs seriously. Benefits : Great benefits. Easy access to Bart for my commute. The kitchen is well stocked, they have a gazillion options for coffee @work and a Philz coffee is only a block away.

Cons

My commute is a little longer but I am taking advantage by catching up on my reading materials on Bart.
