Pros

Great health insurance. Stocked kitchen, commuter benefits, etc. When San Fran leadership comes to visit it's obvious that the company is headed somewhere.

Cons

Not a jab at the state's dominant religion, but if you aren't a member of that faith—Prosper Healthcare Lending might not be especially hospitable to you. There are lots of references to missions, ward meetings, and other cultural tidbits that will go over your head. This is reflected in company-wide meetings, as well as coworker to coworker conversations.

Pros

Benefits are good. Perks are ok

Cons

Management is lacking training, incentive and bonus plans are changed monthly. It is far from a sales driven workplace and top performers are not recognized nor paid what they are worth. Quality Assurance is ruining a great morale and workplace as they want you to be perfect on every call by the book but not be scripted and ensure you are doing everything "compliant" to there so called regulations. I have worked in many banks and financial institutions and it seems as if Prosper is overboard on QA.

Pros

There is a fridge full of orange juice

Cons

- The sales cycle is a completely unorganized - Onboarding will ruin a few of your deals every month guaranteed - The compensation is pathetic unless they change it to a residual % otherwise its a joke - They will seriously pay an Account Executive 11.50 as a base if you do not demand more in offer letter talk about exploitation - The culture is toxic and very close minded most of the sales reps have a negative view of the job and compensation plan: the negativity is draining -You do about 3/4 of other peoples jobs and accounts once they get passed over to other departments and get cancelled or "debooked" you have no control or recourse which equals hours wasted for no return absolutely wasted effort -The process is a mess and if your a sales rep that wants control over the process this is a nightmare for you -There you have it don't say i didn't warn you
