Pros

Hybrid schedule, health benefits are decent

Cons

I spoke openly about issues I saw in the work place and was told I was being negative. Upper management tells us we need to "grease palms" in order to prioritize our work with colleagues which goes against their values. I had 4 quarters of positive reviews then suddenly I was told I was not meeting the bare minimum of my role which is completely wrong considering I was stepping outside of my role to complete tasks and keep projects moving. You attendance is also monitored by upper management that have too much time on their hands instead of doing their actual work.

Thanks for sharing your feedback with us - we are always open to hearing from our employees. Collaboration and building relationships with colleagues is absolutely one of our values at Prosper. Being a good partner to our colleagues is fundamental to our success and how we prioritize our work to ensure no one is working in a silo. We are also deeply committed to a workplace based on integrity and take very seriously when false or unsubstantiated accusations are made against fellow employees as a form of retaliation. Additionally, we are a hybrid workforce in San Francisco, and as such do ask that employees are in the office on the days they are expected. With the current requirement of only being in the office 2 days a week, we hope this gives our employees a great deal of flexibility between time to focus on individual tasks and in-person collaboration. We realize this structure and our expectations may not fit every individual's working style. Our sincere goal is for everyone to be happy, challenged and successful in whatever role they are in whether it is with us or another employer that better aligns to their needs and values.

We appreciate your feedback, though we want to assure you that the "sinking ship" perception does not reflect our current reality. The difficult measures taken previously were to ensure the company's long-term health, and they have worked. We are finishing the year with double-digit growth, which has allowed us to bring back the 2 previously paused benefits. We are reinstating the 401(k) match (5%), as well as bringing back a $1,000 wellness benefit on Jan 1 of 2026. We hope you will see these changes as a testament to our commitment to you and the rest of the team as we head into 2026.
