Pros

Prosper is a super fun place to work. Everyone listens and wants to collaborate. Everyone has great ideas and is willing to share them.

Cons

One of the hardest parts about working at Prosper currently is the slight lack in organization. This will be remedied in the upcoming months.

Not a Sales company

Pros

Prosper offers an impressive benefits package and the office space is new with friendly coworkers. The free snacks are also nice.

Cons

The commission structure is backwards. 65% of commission as a Sales Executive is conditional, and influenced by the performance of another department. This means that you can lose over half the commission of a single deal due to the actions and poor performance of someone else! The in-house and contracted lead generation departments are severely understaffed resulting in a deficit of pre-set appointments. Expect LOTS of cold calls every day, just to survive. The process is young, meaning as a Sales Executive you are busy spending time getting other documents and on boarding items after a deal is closed, taking time away from selling. Experienced sales professionals stay away!

Getting big, still acts like a small start up

Pros

Prosper still feels like a small company in the way people treat each other - Execs still call you by name, everyone is approachable and rallies to get work completed. It's not always clean nor fun, but being a part of something big is rewarding.

Cons

Still way too much to do, both company wide and personally. It's tough to prioritize when there are so many things up in the air.
