Pros

Pretty relaxed work environment. I worked at the Allandale location and Polo is a very caring and funny boss. You have to get your work done of course but it’s a good environment overall.

Cons

Not enough pay. Raises should be more than a quarter.

Horrible Company

Pros

Nobody works very hard. Mostly everyone just lays back and doesn't take their job seriously. Which is fine if you are looking to coast but does nothing to build vital skills in the finance industry.

Cons

Everything else. From being forced to "volunteer", to terrible business practices, terrible atmosphere and inability to have any department effectively communicate with another department. Also they are so strict on overtime that I once got written up over 7 minutes of overtime that I only got because our internet went out for 20 minutes and I couldn't finish my work until it came back online. Another problem is the lack of formal training. Most positions learn from shadowing so everyone gets taught different things by different people. Lastly compensations is a joke. I made a $7 payout for hitting a quarterly goal. What a joke. I cannot say enough bad things about this company and I can't wait to get another job.

Pros

Very positive group of people to work with. The back office support is amazing and willing to help at all cost

Cons

Being only in Texas and Oklahoma, it makes it hard to get out and grow beyond those two states. However, they are acquiring and expanding at a very rapid pace. Who knows, could be a Nationwide bank in the coming future.
