Pros

Easy job to learn, great for a college kid just starting out.

Cons

Pay isn’t great, not much room for advancement. Not a great forever job.

Pros

Sometimes they work around your schedule. If you need a day off they'll find a way. Flexible schedule here and there so you don't go over 40 hrs.

Cons

Seniority always rules here and sometimes those don't even pick up their slack or pick and choose what they help with. Sometimes have to open for others but then those whom you opened for get upset if you get the day off due to too much working so instead make you come in late, take long lunches which you're still at work either way if you don't decide to go elsewhere. So basically you get chosen to accommodate someone else's schedule but no reward for it like getting to spend extra time resting or whatever you like with your time.
