Easy-going culture, Helpful co-workers, Flexible schedule, Challenging work, Ability to travel, Can work from virtually anywhere due to numerous global offices.

Cons

Consulting lifestyle (lots of potential traveling and potential for long hours for certain projects/clients), Limited ability to climb ladder without experience (promotions only slightly based on performance or potential).

Good company culture, above average work life balance, variety of clients makes work interesting. The Chicago office is quite nice.

Cons

Territorial managers, you can get pigeon-holed very easily, average compensation compared to other accounting firms. Very competitive environment

I've been a professional for a very long time, been with many other companies and I have to say that Protiviti, by far, is the best place I've worked for hands down. The work culture is amazing, they pride themselves on their employees and their clients and that shines through the bleakness of corporate life... just look at how many awards they have earned for best company to work for not only nationally but regionally and locally.

Cons

It can sometimes be difficult to find someone for a specific duty but the structure of the company is set in such a way that it's not really a hindrance.
