This company cares more about the people that work for them more than anything. It's invigorating to be involved in a company that is so persistent in trying to make sure we know what we mean to them.

Cons

I was told coming in that I would be travelling to a lot of different states for client site visits but won't be moving more than a 30 minute drive from the office at all during this internship unfortunately.

In consulting, your work assignments are hard to predict (this is both positive and negative sometimes). Our business in Indy is growing (shout-out to Mike T). Even if it doesn't pan out during your internship, when you join us full-time, you will have an opportunity to travel. Just make sure you vocalize your interests to your Resource Manager and Advisor.

Pros

Protiviti is a great place to work. Everyone is friendly and supportive, so while the hours can be challenging at times, management goes to great lengths to recognize the effort you put in. Lots of variety in the types of engagements, places, and people you'll get exposure to.

Cons

Hours can be difficult at times depending on the engagement. As the company continues to grow at an amazing rate, it's difficult to maintain the same kind of close-knit atmosphere. That being said, Management regularly meets with employees at all levels to seek out what they can do better to keep employees happy and maintain the culture while still growing.
