Pros

Job is fairly simple and it's really hard to get fired. Show up 3/5 days and you're good.

Cons

Recently, tenure was ended so you only get increases based on merit - but positions have pay caps so once you hit that, you're very unlikely to qualify for the next raise unless you get a promotion - which isn't going to happen.
