Pros

Good work-life balance allowed and insurance is good. Certain people are genuine and nice in the organization who really wants to help.

Cons

Lack of communication within organization in dept with managers. Pay raises sucks, disrespectful for employees who perform extremely well (1% or 3% if you're lucky). Promotion is lacking for employees; the org rather hire external then promote and grow internal employees. Lack of promotions for minorities in upper management being offered or they are more scrutinized about their work experience than white colleagues. A lot of favoritism. A lot of biases toward certain employees.

Pros

You 'll receive almost average pay for being a phlebotomist, you'll join a union, within departments people are friendly to each other, mostly.

Cons

I'm fairly certain they are more interested in profits than in medicine. The nice atmosphere impedes proper critiquing and accountability. They also have violations against them impeding Govt funding. In a ranking of 3000 hospitals, they made the bottom 1/5, or in other words they were among the worst 600 hospitals nationwide.

Pros

Great benefits, the paid time off is great for a senior employee. Yummy treats are offered free to employees at holidays, or just as a monthly employee appreciation. They even offer assistance to employees that cant afford to pay for their own family insurance benefits. Tuition reimbursement is decent. They have come a long way since the early 2000's in the way of providing a balance between life & work for their employees.

Cons

The Pay is quite low.
