Pros

Many of the recruiters were nice to work with and the hiring managers were not as difficult as some I've recruited for in the past.

Cons

Lead Recruiters, Managers have zero respect or genuine concern for front line recruiters. Cliques are rampant and if they don't like you or you aren't part of the cool clique club, you become a worker bee with no room for growth. They promote ONLY who they like, they give the most open requisitions to the recruiters they don't like. You work hard hoping they will appreciate and value what you bring to the table but all you get is constant disrespect. When I was there, some recruiters had over 125 open positions while others have 20! Completely un-balanced and only based on who they liked or who whined about having too much work. So many recruiters quit and it's only getting worse. I would NEVER refer a friend or family member to work for Providence Recruiting / Talent Acquisition.

Pros

Very flexible hours. Kind people.

Cons

From the moment I started this job there was no real type of training or manual, it was more like one day of here try this out. From then on you are just thrown into the job and at first it is not that bad but then work load quickly builds to unbearable. My coworkers are underpaid and we are understaffed, we continue to get more employees but the turn over rate is so fast people leave before we can staff. Perhaps other jobs in this company are better but as far as recruitment, I have personally never seen worse.

Pros

Large org with many opportunities .

Cons

Hard to advance unless you know people. Those work extremely hard and have talent do not get rewards. Everyone get 1.5% as merit in IT. They cut many benefits such as extended illness time off. Now, you have to use your paid time off. Healh ins annual max out of pocket is $6000 (family) for their base employees plan.
