Pros

Heavy workload made day go fast.

Cons

Terrible leadership in the Central Processing Department. Supervisor creates an environment with low morale. No support from Manager in resolving unfair treatment and degrading treatment from Supervisor. Nepotism is a big problem with Supervisor getting friends hired in her own department.

Pros

Pushing the envelope to create an awesome healthcare experience for our patients. Leadership is very business oriented and with good technical depth – great place for innovative technical people to work.

Cons

Challenges are related to operational and security complexity due to working in healthcare. And also to the fact that Providence is a huge organization of 75,000 employees.

Pros

Mission of organization is admirable. Patients are treated well.

Cons

Corporate Non clinical areas understaffed and and leaders are indifferent to humanity overall. Leaders have no strategy. Vision perhaps. Work is not appreciated. Mid mgrs often have no real training to lead.
