Cons

Since the arrival of the new American leadership team, Provoke Solutions has become a toxic workplace. The environment fosters unrealistic expectations with employees that are overworked and underpaid for the roles they do. Feedback is ignored, and morale is at an all-time low. If you're considering joining, think twice, this is not the supportive, innovative company it once was. 100% of the engineering team, what's left of engineering, are looking for another job

Pros

Got exposure to a startup consulting firm, which provided insight into the fast-paced nature of consulting, working with various clients, and the hope to work on new technologies.

Cons

Poor task management and shifting priorities made it difficult to make progress efficiently. Feedback was rarely provided, and decisions often changed last minute. This left me feeling unproductive on many days, with little direction or focus.

- Junior consultants and devs were personable and sharp - Learned about environments that have misaligned communication from leadership with what happens in reality - Exposure to startup based consulting

Cons

- Very disorganized and lack of structure for career growth - Preachy messages from C-Level that did not correlate to the work organization, portfolio, or employee level growth - Poor communication and unclear expectations - do not expect to get feedback that is genuine.. there are hidden agendas not clear at all levels - Unprofessional conduct with cliques among senior execs and long tenured employees - Frantic and chaotic work environments with consultants expected to deliver across multiple engagements and time zones - Lack of recognition and empathy
