Pros

Stabile company with extensive programs for learning and development. Also strong encouragement for career mobility and voluntary short term assignments. Transformation underway and lots if opportunities to grow and learn. Culture at Prudential is one of the best with programs, events and volunteer opportunities that support diversity, inclusion, openness, transparency, and caring for others.

Cons

Work-life balance is encouraged but the time off policy for new hires is not competitive with other companies. Only 20 days are offered for the first 3 years of service compared to other companies giving 30-35 days to start or providing 4 -day work weeks or unlimited PTO. Also there isn’t a summer hours program or half-day Fridays. Long-timers have an abundance of vacation leaving the new team members to work which seems unbalanced.

Pros

Inclusive, caring, as well as a good way to broaden the horizons of where you want to work in the future.

Cons

The company got sold, jobs moved over and specific people were not allowed the amount of money they deserved while moving to empower, not a good place to work as the company got closer to being moved to another big company.
