No Holiday Pay

Pros

We just got a raise.

Cons

We just got a raise and the CEO and board has the nerve to make us pay them for new uniforms. That has their new logo on it. Insurance is TRASH. And we do not get holiday pay. Christmas is the only holiday they recognize and to get the pay you have to work day before and after to get the 8 hours.

Pros

The residents are the greatest

Cons

Management cliques, management terrorizes and makes fun of me. North Hall unit manager continues to turn on bright LED lights that give me migraines. They truly don't care about employees. Since I have worked there I have been yelled at, cussed at, refused to assist when I needed admin assistance, threatened with physical violence, been called names. Much more could be listed. There is a very strong clique in the building and they are horrible people.

Pros

Work from home 2 days a week

Cons

No work/life balance anymore. They do not care about employees' mental health. Micromanagement. Crappy benefits. Crappy PTO. NO paid holidays, have to use PTO to be paid for them. They expect you to take more responsibility with no increase in pay. They claim they "don't make acceptions" but SO many people get to work from home, yet they expect others to come in 3 days a week. HR doesn't respond or communicate at all regarding ADA, and when they do they take forever, suggest ways to help, and don't follow through. CEO has private jets, yet can't match or offer anything towards 401K, better benefits, or pay. NO way this company deserves the 3.8 rating they have. Also, the facilities are crap, turnover at them is ridiculous, and seems like many people who work in them only stay for job security and because they love the residents.
