Pros

- Floor staff, for the most part, was a pleasure to work with. - DHS was supportive and listened but corporate keeps her hands tied. - It was a convenient commute

Cons

- Administrator is a yes man to corporate. Will say he supports his staff but is the exact opposite. - Administrator blatantly violated FMLA - Administrator is planning on retiring soon and is simply coasting until then. - Multiple HR violations that are never handled. Some that should have included termination of employee. HR was kept in the dark by the Administrator - Administrator is quick to tell you that you can be replaced by the end of the week.

Pros

The staff are friendly and answer all my questions

Cons

One concern I have is that the schedule frequently moves me to different stations instead of keeping me with the residents assigned to my regular rotation. When I’m consistently assigned to the same residents, I get to know their routines, preferences, and care needs, which helps me provide better, more efficient care. Being moved often makes it harder to build that familiarity and can affect the continuity of care for the residents.

Amazing residents overshadowed by serious management issues

Pros

The residents are all amazing!

Cons

Everything else. The head nurse offered to fake my drug test results at orientation. Red Flag #1. Residents are being served subpar and even raw food. Red Flag#2. Residents literally sliding out of bed while nurses laugh and socialize. Red Flag#3. CNA's refusing to assist with getting patients wandering around with dementia unsure of where they are and leave before feeding Residents who cannot feed themselves.
