Pros
-Flexible schedule at times -Building life long friendships with peers is common here because we were able to share some of the same terrible experiences we had with daily tasks and irate customers.
Cons
Compensation may seem fair until you realize just how much your having to work. You have to make sure your properties are open 7 days a week, take phone calls and check emails 7 days a week, spend 7 days a week catching up on what you couldn’t get to during the week because you are consumed with countless tasks. Throw in physically cutting locks and recently the DMs have had to manage large facility projects with all the spare time they have and you have one burned out employee. Over the last year the DM position has become a maintenance manager and glorified adult babysitter role with little room for decision making and developing strong employees.
