Pros

Public Storage offers skill sets that can be used anywhere in life. They make sure you know your job inside and out before you get out of training, and offer many educational outlets once you are out. The work atmosphere is comfortable and I know that I can count on my teammates! You are told upfront what is expected of you prior to hiring. Integrity and hard work are rewarded. Public Storage seeks out 'A players' to provide SuperSTAR service skills.

Cons

It is extremely hard to move up past KTP in the company. Public Storage hires outside of the company.

Pros

A Paycheck, they open at 9:30am

Cons

Some other employees can hold you back. Only $10/Hr after a year of working for them.. You do everything for little pay, clean units, take the trash out the units, shovel etc.

Pros

Office Hours are reasonable. Do not have a manager in your office all the time. Great job for college students and kids living at home with their parents.

Cons

Certain DM's are rude and disrespectful. The workload to pay ratio is absurd. Managers are more and more expected to do what DM's used to do. Yet there is not compensation for this. PM's are not able to reprimand RF's when they are not doing there job. Manager's are constantly bickering and gossiping creating an unpleasant work environment. DM's need to be #1 clouds their judgement and causes them to stress out managers even when managers do meet the numbers it is never enough. Young managers come to work with the expectation they will just sit in the office on their phones all day. Managers get their friends hired and tell them its a chill job you don't have to do anything all day.
