Pros

Public Storage hires talented staff with strong backgrounds in their specific field. Everyone comes from different industries and they bring in new and fresh ideas to create a more effective and efficient workplace. Work-life balance is great as long as you put in the hard work.

Cons

Some employees have shared that there is lack of upward mobility. However, I still give the company 5 stars because I have not witnessed any cons myself.

Pros

Close to freeway if you have to commute

Cons

I noticed a lot of positive reviews but it is for the call center not IT. Regarding IT the CTO is new and trigger happy to fire. All Business Analysts, QA people are new and express their concern regarding job loss due to unrealistic deadline. It is not a healthy environment to work in. They do not have license for common programs and expect that you purchase your own. This included self support for MAC users which includes installation of network computers and internet. It continues to the treatment of employees such as not providing forks, knives or cup for drinking in breakrooms which is common in all other companies I've worked for. This shows a lack of concern or care for their employees.

Pros

The hours were consistent. You always worked about 40 hours a week. You definitely get a workout walking the length of the properties at least twice on slow days. 200+ units.

Cons

Like most companies, they frown on overtime. You need to finish all closing paperwork before closing and clock out exactly at that time. Which is nerve racking with a customer in the store. You will get dirty and sticky working here. Cleaning everything from dusty hallways to human excrement in the stairways. There is a chance that you will be working at multiple locations in your region. The property managers are the only ones that don't move around, usually. You will be learning script after script, word for word, so there is NO room for error.
