Pros

Set schedule, off everyday by 6 pm. Meet great customers at times and ok co- workers

Cons

Public storage is a company that is number driven. If you don't mind aggressive coaching to obtain monthly goals while cleaning and moving furniture and doing everything else on the property while working alone perfect job for you. This company focuses more on how much money they can make then actually employee concerns and safety on property. I worked here for a number of years and several times customers has walked in and said "you here by your self right". Long story short, if you are in between jobs and are looking for something now apply, if you want a job that care about you and want to work for a company where you matter move on this is not the job for you

Pros

Very profitable Company. Great group of core employees. Great first impression. Seem to bring in bright, capable people. PTO allows employees to work regular holidays or take them which lends more flexibility in vacation planning. Enjoyable company events. Company has a solid financial future.

Cons

There seems to be a great divide between the "have and the "have-nots." Public records display total comp of executives. PS doesn't pay that well at the lower levels and that pay tends to "flat-line" thereafter not keeping pace with the cost of living. Shouldn't the bulk of people creating the company identity enjoy in the financial success too? PS' relentless pursuit of more for less comes at the great personal expense. There seems to be a prevailing 24-7 mentality among many managers. Those who master this "badge of honor" and fall in line - experience longevity.

Pros

I have worked here for 5 years, and couldn't be happier. The company is rock solid, with a business model that produces amazing results year after year. Our culture is centered around coaching, executed at all levels of the organization following a model of "We Care". With this, we openly talk about opportunities in our business and partner for success. We are expected to run our business as if we were the CEO of our markets and have the ability to impact results with solid operational execution and coaching for performance. I look forward to the next 5 years of growth and expanded opportunities for success.

Cons

We are results oriented, which required a high level of dedication. If you are not willing to work hard, then this may not be company for you. Although "thinking out of the box" is encouraged, we are a highly structured company and we have less flexibility to implement innovative ideas.
