      Pros

      Following guidelines to lease storage units and sell merchandise. Mostly have to be self-driven and building strong relationships with our customers to give them five star experience. However, if you take pride of taking care your storage facility as manager is very enjoyable and satisfying.

      Cons

      Public storage is leading industry in this category and the pay could be better compared the competitor.

      Pros

      Working at Public Storage has helped me in great ways that other companies can’t do for you. As a college student it is important for me to have a full time job that will work with your schedule and Public Storage has done that for me. Not only that but we are offered great benefits like 401k, medical insurance, paid vacation time, & more. The company also has an awesome referral program because they want to hire excellent employees. As a property manager, I work mostly independently and often times with my district manager to make sure my property meets expectations.

      Cons

      Like any job there are some cons to working here. For example there are times when you have to deal with disrespectful tenants or rude customers so it is important to stay calm and try to fix the situation. Another con is that there is not much room to advance in the company. You are either a relief manager or a property manager. Some property managers will have the opportunity to become trainers but that’s about it.

      Pros

      The people I meet from all walks of life. People in transition I get to celebrate with customers when they buy new homes or when children are off to college. There are difficult moments as well, I like that we can offer comfort through difficult times . Storing not only our customers goods but also showing compassion through life changes and providing great prices with awesome promotions, clean facilities and exceptional customer service. I love people so this is perfect for me.

      Cons

      For me working weekends is not much ofca problem working in customer service that comes with territory but that would be the one thing that I hear that would make some excited.
