      Pros

      Opportunity to gain different useful skills. If just starting out this is a good place. Gives some management qualities, as well as team building when available. No late nights/early morning...but EVERY weekend

      Cons

      Scripted...scripted...scripted. Everything here is a script and if it is not done correctly it all effects "bonus" potential. The salary is ridiculous and the opportunity for growth is worse. There is not growth past property manager, which does not come with a pay increase...go figure.

      Pros

      apartment on property, 40 hour work week, enjoy working with tenants from all over the United States and from other countries.

      Cons

      no input from property managers. over priced locks. boxes and other merchandise, scripts that make you sound like a robot. DM that expect you to make there bonus for them and you get nothing no matter how hard you work. people at corp that have never worked at a property and have no idea what we do or put up with.

      Pros

      The team of people that I work with in the district that I am in are great. We are team players, and when another property needs help there is always someone stepping up to the plate to help. And of course it helps that we have the greatest District Manager that there is. Working with the public you do meet lots of different people, so it is very important to be a people person. Constantly being recognized for doing a good job.

      Cons

      Explaining a rent increase to customers. It presents a challenge, but it helps me grow professionally.
