Pros

Excellent benefits package. 20 days of PTO per year + 11 holidays. 401k matching is 7% on a 6% employee contribution. The company is very stable and layoffs are almost unheard of. The environment is very friendly and generally fairly laid back about work hours, etc. There is an annual bonus that can be up to 20 percent but is usually more like 10 percent. The company has just gone private and was acquired by a group of pension funds looking for long term stable returns. This should greatly improve the company's access to capital. The customer base in western Washington continues to grow, which is good for job security.

Cons

Salaries are not necessarily comparable to other types of businesses in the Seattle area (Microsoft, Boeing, etc.). The annual raises are pretty small (around 3 percent). Decision making takes a long time and there are way too many meetings to get everyone on board with every decision. The Bellevue area is a very expensive place to live and most professional employees have to do some time at the corporate offices there. There are more affordable places to live farther out, but the traffic and commute in the Seattle area is pretty bad. Generally, a pretty nice place to work if you are used to the "downsides" of the Puget Sound Area (traffic, cost, weather)
