Overall good company. Benefits are good. Pension and 401K is rare these days.

Great people in my group. There are opportunities to work on projects outside your department. Benefits. Location.

Cons

Some politics in how people are promoted. Often times people are told they have a job before it is even posted. Management is hit and miss. There are some real down to earth great managers and then there are those who use the steamroll approach with little regard for casualties. Often times management asks for feedback and then doesn nothing with the feedback. It is as if they are checking a box "done" with no intent to make process improvements. Took raises away from all staff in 2010 and probably no bonus in 2011. Some senior level mang. are very innappropriate.

Everyone in the department where I worked cooperated to get things done. There were none of the petty rivalries or office politics that make some places so frustrating.

Cons

I would have liked to have known more about where things were going with the job. Other than that, I was pretty satisfied.

Very nice people, you feel welcomed right off the bat and are treated with respect by everyone. Good environment and learned a lot.

Cons

Some busy work at times but overall just a good place to work. Learned a lot and gained a wealth of knowledge about the industry as a whole.
