      It’s a utility so you’ll always have work.

      Cons

      Leadership team hides behind a vale of doing what’s best only for them. Announce possible layoffs and a hiring freeze due to budget concerns then announce a 14th member of the c-suite. What small local utility needs 14 c-suite members? They seem to forget this is still a small company not a Fortune 500 global business. Poor leadership for sure.

      People, stability, opportunities within the company to change roles

      Cons

      Executive leadership feeds employees contradictory information, there's a lack of transparency among managers and execs, and individual contributors are the ones who suffer. The new CEO leaves a lot to be desired with her whisper-like way of talking, her need to clean house - firing some long-standing and well-respected leaders so that she can fill her bench with yes men. It's not the same great company it used to be.
