Pros

As a good place for academic research work, Purdue is high standard and comfortable. The work time depends on the 'boss''s requirement but quite flexible. Colleagues are nice and collaborative. Pay is good according to low life expense in West Lafayette.

Cons

Far less opportunities for students to get involved into particular industrial practices in big companies than those in big cities, unless you are majoring in Agriculture or Mechanical/Manufacturing (CAT, Subaru, and ranches in town) .

Pros

They treat their students well, and its certainly a great place to be in. You constantly learn a lot and nurtures a very healthy competition all the time

Cons

Sometimes its a little too much work. Stressful at times, but cant complain. They pay equally well. As a GTA you will have a lot of work.
