      Teaching Staff Is Hard Working and Dedicated

      Cons

      The young people are developing into adults, but they are still children. And children require structure, balance, love, compassion, instruction and guidelines for appropriate and inappropriate conduct and interactions with authority figures in order for true growth and learning to develop, as well as curiosity to be piqued and flourish. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs must be met before any of these goals can realistically be tackled.

      Strong academic programs, especially in STEM and Veterinary medicine, and good finances

      Cons

      Not the most fun campus or broader environment (Indiana = not much nature and no real bodies of water nearby suitable for swimming or other leisure activity) and not the most interesting student body (arts are poorly represented).

      Lots of jobs to transfer around.

      Cons

      But they won't help you get one if you are clearly in a toxic environment and suffering severe burnout. Poor leadership to resolve toxicity. Poor HR to make sure their employees are taken care of.
