Working at Purolator in Charlottetown for 6 years was enjoyable. -I worked everything from the night shift pre-loader to courier, and also spent some time working in the office. The company allowed me to do these different jobs regularly, and without hassle. They encouraged hard-work and rewarded you for it. -The pay was wonderful, with benefits and other perks included.

Cons

As like any place of work, Purolator had its downfalls. -The union made it difficult for the hardest workers to advance any, as job postings and salary were based off of seniority. Some of the older drivers would enjoy the biggest advantages, but put in the least amount of work. -Although I heard from other employees about the staff parties, company events and other team building experiences within Purolator in previous years, I saw very little. It seemed as though they forgot about the importance of moral and just how beneficial it can be to treat your employees every now and then.
